Available Positions:

Certified Nursing Assistant – Full-time, Part-time, or PRN – We are looking for energetic and patient focused team players to work at the Burnett Calvert Hospice House. Shifts are 12 hours, both days and nights. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, must possess a current CNA license in the State of Maryland, and must have at least 1 year of experience in home care and/or with dying patients. Shoppe for Hospice Manager – Part-time (12 hours/week)  We are looking for a creative individual with retail experience to aid in overseeing the operations of our Shoppe for Hospice store in Prince Frederick, MD.  The Shoppe for Hospice Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating the “Shoppe for Hospice” retail store.  Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, preparing schedules to ensure coverage, maintaining and rotating inventory as needed, strategizing ways to maximize sales, making and/or ensuring that all revenues are deposited daily. Burnett Calvert Hospice House (BCHH) Nurse Manager – Full-time  (40 hours a week) – We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Burnett Calvert Hospice House (BCHH) who will be responsible for the oversight of the daily activities of clinical staff of the BCHH under the guidance of hospice policies, federal regulations, and state guidelines.  They will also be responsible for case management of all patients at the BCHH, with other duties as assigned. Chaplain – PRN – We are looking for a Chaplain to assist with meeting the spiritual needs of Calvert Hospice patients and families. Responsibilities include working with patients and families to create plans of care, understanding a wide variety of religious and faith communities, and serving as a liaison to community clergy and church communities to provide spiritual care to Calvert Hospice patients and their family members. Click the link for a detailed position description: Chaplain Job Description

Social Worker – PRN – We are looking for a Social Worker to provide psychosocial aspects of care to Calvert Hospice patients and families.
