Children’s Programs

Calvert Hospice understands that youth and teens need support after the death of a loved one. We offer children’s programs that allow them to participate in discussion groups and creative activities while they learn coping skills.

Individual child and teen grief counseling is available upon request. Contact Brittanny Wilson at or (410) 535-0892 for more information.

An 8 session grief support program for children ages 6 to 12, teens ages 13 to 17, and adult family members who are grieving the death of a loved one. Children and teens are divided into age-appropriate peer groups where we use creative activities and discussion to assist with coping and healing. Adult family members learn the similarities and differences between child and adult grief and gain the knowledge and skills to help support their children in grief.
