Butterfly Release & Memorial

Each year, Calvert Hospice hosts a Butterfly Release & Memorial Service for those who want to celebrate the life of a loved one. The 2022 Butterfly Release will be held at Jefferson Patterson Park on June 26 at 2 pm. The ceremony incorporates music, reflections, and a brief service of healing and hope that concludes with the release of butterflies.

We are pleased to be able to invite members of the community who have lost loved ones to participate in the 2022 service. To register, please download the form below and return it to us by June 17 with payment for any butterflies. Attendance at the Butterfly Release is free, but registration is required. Butterflies can be purchased for $25 each.
