Children’s Programs

Calvert Hospice understands that youth and teens need support after the death of a loved one. We offer children’s programs that allow them to participate in discussion groups and creative activities while they learn coping skills.

Individual child and teen grief counseling is available upon request. Contact (410) 535-0892 for more information.

Journeys is an 8 week support group focused on helping families heal after the loss of a loved one. The program is for children and teens, ages 6 to 17, and their adult family members. The program includes creative activities that help children learn to process their grief, opportunities for children and adults to connect with others who understand, age-specific groups that encourage sharing, and a positive, safe environment where you can share your grief journey. The adult group assists you with your own grief process while also providing education on how to help your children as they grieve.
