Community Giving 3rd Quarter

We would like to recognize local businesses and individuals who hosted fundraisers for us this summer! We are always so appreciative of the support of the citizens Calvert County.

Wear Your Spirit Warehouse held the Here for Good campaign this summer, and St. Nicholas Lutheran Church decided to donate the proceeds of their online store in the campaign to Calvert Hospice. We received a donation of $670 (corrected photo coming soon)! Thank you to everyone who purchased a shirt or other “spirit” wear from this fundraiser!

Jean Hickey, Independent Sales Representative for Opulenza Designs held a fundraiser for Calvert Hospice and raised $60! Thank you for thinking of us!

We would like to thank Calvert Kettle Corn for the donation of $38.60 and to everyone who purchased popcorn during our fundraiser from June 22 – July 6.

The 17th Annual Michael D. Schrodel Golf Classic raised $10,000 for Calvert Hospice! Thank you to Carmen and Teresa Schrodel for organizing this fundraiser every year. Stay tuned for info about the 2021 tournament!

Thank you to the new owners of Buckets Sports Bar, Healther McInerny and Brandon Harrington. They hosted a fundraiser in Chris Bowen’s memory on July 30 from 7 – 11 pm and matched each donation. They donated $270! Thank you so much.

Calvert Hospice was the recipient for the Quotes for Good Program with Jackie Gibson of Gibson State Farm in Dunkirk. Ms. Gibson donated $670!

Michelle Hohstadt, Independent Consultant & Educational Services Representative with Usborne Books & More held a Cards for a Cause fundraiser for us and raised $221!

Ketch 22 held a fundraiser for Calvert Hospice and raised $515! Thank you to everyone who dined out for our cause!

Mexico Restaurant in Huntingtown held a fundraiser for Calvert Hospice and raised $125! Thank you to everyone who participated in the fundraiser.
