Festival of Wreaths
Begin the holidays with a festive display of beautifully crafted wreaths!
The Festival of Wreaths is an opportunity for the community to come enjoy beautiful wreaths designed by local artists and businesses. This year we had 50 gorgeous wreaths donated! Thank you to everyone who created and donated wreaths for the event. The artistic quality amazes us each year.
The event features beautiful, hand-crafted wreaths available for bidding all day on your cell phone.
In 2021, the wreaths were displayed at historic Linden, located in the heart of Prince Frederick and home to the Calvert County Historical Society. Guests were able to stop by Linden and preview wreaths on November 18, 19, and 20, and bidding took place November 20 from 10 am – 3pm. Our spree wreath raffle was worth over $1,300! All bidding and purchases was done on smartphones or computers! We would like to thank everyone who participated in the auction, purchased gift items, or bought spree wreath raffle tickets.
